Certificate Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
This program provides qualifications through which students aspiring to management roles can prepare themselves for positions in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality sector.
Target Group
Those already in the travel and tourism industry and school leavers who desire to acquire a professional qualification in travel, tourism and hospitality.
Entry requirements
CERTIFICATE:
- KCSE mean grade D+
DIPLOMA:
- KCSE mean grade C (plain) or
- At least two years appropriate work experience (a letter from employers must accompany such an application).
- Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.

There are two intakes into the program: January and July
Duration
Each level takes 6 months
MODES OF STUDY
FULL – TIME CLASSES
There are two full – time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
PART – TIME (Evening) CLASSES
There are two part-time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday 5:30 pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30 to 1:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm

Registration & Examination
- Those wishing to sit examinations must register with ABE as students.
- Closing dates for membership application are:
- June Examination: First Friday in March
- December Examination: First Friday in September - Examinations are held twice a year in June and December.
