Certificate in Business Administration
Entry requirements
- Mean grade D+ and D+ in English and D+ in Mathematics or Commerce or Accounting or Office Practice with Type- writing or Economics
- Mean grade D+ without the above subject combinations but a credit in English II and Commerce II or Business Calculations II or Office Practice II, of the KNEC Single and Group qualifications
- KCE division 3 with a minimum of a pass in English and a minimum pass in one of the following KCE subjects: Mathematics, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice
Advanced Certificate in Business Administration

Diploma in Business Management
Entry requirements
- KCSE Mean grade C plain with a minimum of Grade C in English and a minimum of Grade C in one of the following KCSE subjects: Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Commerce
- KCE Division II with a minimum of a Credit pass (i.e. grade 6 or better) in English Language and a minimum of a credit pass in one of the following KCE subjects; Mathematics, Principals of Accounts.
- KACE with a minimum of a subsidiary pass in General Paper and a minimum of Principal E in one of the following KACE subjects; Mathematics, Economics
- Advanced Certificate in Business Administration
Intakes to the Program
There are two intakes into the programs, in January and July.
Duration
The Certificate and Advanced Certificate each takes 6 months of full time study or 1 year of part-time study and the Diploma in Management takes 1 year of full time study or 2 years of part-time study.
MODES OF STUDY
FULL – TIME CLASSES
There are two full – time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
PART – TIME (Evening) CLASSES
There are two part-time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday 5:30 pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30 to 1:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm
