Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
About the Course
- This is an advanced level management program and is sought regularly by employers seeking a suitable program of study for middle level and line managers.
- The structure of the course ensures these participants are able to develop both academic knowledge and practical management skills. The qualification also gives entry to a range of other post -graduate programs.
Entry requirements
- KCSE mean grade D+
- Applicants over the age of 19 and with at least 2 years working experience can be admitted into the program.
Intake
There are two intakes into the programs in January and July.
Duration
The Graduate Diploma in Management Studies takes 1 year.
MODES OF STUDY
FULL – TIME CLASSES
There are two full – time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
PART – TIME (Evening) CLASSES
There are two part-time courses each year.
1st Semester: Early January to early May
Monday – Friday 5:30 pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30 to 1:00pm
2nd Semester: Early July to early November
Monday – Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 1:00pm

Continuing Education
The graduate Diploma in Management studies may be offered as an entrance qualification for relevant degree studies and for entry into a wide range of MBA’s (subject to examination grades, age and work experience). A number of subjects are also accepted for subject exemption and credit purposes by other examining bodies and universities.
